This month we conclude the first cohort of Terminal 3 in none other than Bali! We're going to end the year in style just like Julia Roberts did in 'Elizabeth Gilbert's 'Eat, Pray, Love.'
There is a ideology that goes around with some people that although they seem as if they have it all together on the outside, they are truly hurting on the inside. They have a sense of loss about them and they are unkempt in their thinking and emotional state. In order to try to find that balance and restore some happiness, there is a term of “eat, pray, love” that one can take part in just as Julia Robert's did.
This involves, when speaking literally, eating in another country, praying in another country, and finding love in another country. It is all about taking on a different perspective from different walks of life and seeing how others go about their day-to-day life. This can really give a different meaning of how someone lives when you are able to see it from their eyes and take a walk in their shoes.
Bali is home to it's own style of unique cuisine and eateries. Sitting down at a restaurant and taking in food you never thought possible is a great way to take advantage of the “eat” part of the destination. See how the people of Bali eat, take part in their customs, and truly appreciate the difference in culture.
The “pray” portion in Bali can come from visiting one of the many churches or temples that Bali has. Take time to understand how locals comprehend the concept of religion and what leads their faith. This not only opens your eyes to the culture as an individual but to the community as a whole in how tribes come together in worship and fellowship. This is a different kind of perspective. One you cannot find everywhere but one that is definitely worth your investment.
Last, but not least, is the “love” portion of your trip in Bali. This is something that cannot be planned or rushed. You never know if you are going to find that spark when wondering around the plains of Bali but it is all about paying attention to the people around you and enjoying life for what it is. You gravitate what you put out in the world and that is truly what finding true love is about. No one, not even you, will know for sure if it will be based in Bali but if it is it will be sure to find you within a moment’s notice.
